Kauri Hill Estate Experience…

Absolutely stunning place. The bush setting is spectacular, the villa was super warm and comfy with everything you need. The hot tub beyond compare. Wonderful host. Can't recommend highly enough.

If there was an option for 10 stars we’d be giving 10!! Truly a magical spot with everything provided, attention to detail was ten fold.
A beautiful location with an immense amount of wildlife and nature to be surrounded by.
The house is just something else- incredible ! We can’t wait to return in the future.

This is our second time here. Kauri Hill Estate (Jo and Rob) has done it again! I don’t think photos or descriptions will ever do this place justice. One has to experience it themselves.
House is clean, spacious and modern. Hot tub is a great icing on the cake. It’s also well equipped with all the required amenities.
There is so much to do for kids if you like trekking and walks. The in house bush walk is quite a treat day or night. We also did the wairakau stream track right outside the estate.
No complaints at all. Amazing place and hosts. Would love to come back again.

The house is incredible and the whole stay was worth every penny.

The Kauri Hill Estate at Tōtara North is an amazingly beautiful and peaceful place to spend some time relaxing and soaking in the natural surrounds. Our hosts were so delightful and helpful with all our needs. The breakfasts were amazing. Thank you. We will be back and highly recommend to others travelling in this neck of the woods.

Perfection in Totara North!
Where to begin a review of this beautiful place. Kauri Hill Estate in Totara North is magical. From the 60 Hectares to explore with manicured trails to the amazing views, our stay was perfect. Our hosts, Rob and Joe were absolute delights. Each morning a fresh and delicious breakfast was delivered with a smile. Every interaction with them was amazing! Our villa was simply divine. Perfectly decorated with the most amazing views from every room. Our four night stay was just too short. We loved exploring the property, listening to and watching the wonderful birds, walking the bush trails and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings! Of all of our AirBnb stays, this was definitely the most lovely and enjoyable experience. Thank you to the owners of Kauri Hill Estate, the caretakers/hosts Joe, Rob and France for creating a wonderful experience we will be talking about for years to come.

Special Retreat

We had a glorious weekend at Kauri Hills Estate. The luxurious estate is so special, with magnificent breathtaking views and a tastefully landscaped garden/ nature reserve. The villa was quirky, soft and comfortable, beautifully decorated with all the high-end amenities you need, plus a great sound system and a spa with no chemicals. We had such an amazing and relaxing retreat. Joe and Rob were next-level hosts - they spoilt us with an amazing star-gazing evening (a must-do if you book at Kauri Hills Estate). And they truly made our stay so special and memorable. Their service was impeccable, and Rob and Joe know how to give their guests a personal touch and make them feel welcome. There is so much more that Kauri Hills Estate offers that is not easily found in other stays - if you are looking for that special getaway - This is a great place to be- A Hidden Gem!

A Perfect Weekend Getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming property! The location was serene and offered a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The accommodation itself was better than the photos let on, immaculately clean, and provided all the comforts we could have asked for. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and ensured that our stay was as pleasant as possible. We enjoyed the room and dinner service on occasion and the food hit the spot! We especially loved the views of the harbour, spa bath and remoteness. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We can't wait to return! Thanks so much!

We are a family with 2 children and we had a lovely stay at this villa. We are impressed from the moment we drove in the gate of the estate. From then on, the experience just gets better and better!
Villa is beautiful and clean with amazing view that changes daily. It’s also very well equipped.
Spa is the icing on the cake and kids enjoyed the space on the open deck. We had some rainy days, but we felt we could spend a lot of time IN the villa because it’s so comfortable and nice.
We enjoyed the walk around the villa and outside the villa.
